No you dont

You need to go to SALLY BEAUTY SUPPLY and get a gvp 1'; flat iron it is an exact replica of a chi iron ( $120) and it costs only 60 . I have had mine for 2 years still works and looks like the day i bought it always get compliments . Also pick up some gvp ( generic value products) paul mitchell super skinny serum( use quarter size amount roots to ends. creates a steam sort of but protects hair) and use that before you straighten it before you iron for best results.Dont judge it by size this iron will get hot enough to do the job. I have bought 6 irons until i found this one WORKS LIKE A CHARM !!! SO HAPPY WITH IT : ) Comes in colors too !!

CVS has tons of high-quality cheap ones. I got mine for $25 and it wonks incredibly. Walgreens and Rite Aid, also.
Go to trade secret

They have tons of different hair irons and some are pretty cheap!
