CERAMIC Hair Straighteners.. Help?

O.K. I'm 14 years old. Im currently using Ceramic Hot Tools Straightener. Iv had it since i was 13 and it's time for a new one. Money does not matter. I would like a CERAMIC hair straightener that works well. I have VERY thin hair, and naturally straight but i straighten it anyways. Don't ask why. I just do, it makes it look nicer. I heard CHI is good, but i don't need such a high temerature cause my hair is thin.

ALSO* My hair is dry. Are there any products that WORK and that will get my hair hydrated?

Thank you so much!!CERAMIC Hair Straighteners.. Help?
My advice is to get away from hair straighteners as soon as possible. They mess up your hair so bad. Trust me you'll regret it when your my age. Hair won't grow, so many different layers that are like 1 inch long, can't do anything with it. Yeah so try to get away from them if possible.CERAMIC Hair Straighteners.. Help?
any flat iron dries ur hair!!!!
Jibrere Tourmaline................and a great glosser, ask the girls at Sally Beauty supply, they will be happy to help.
infiniti by conair is amazing! and it lets you choose the exact temperature so you can choose one of the lower ones. its only $50 and you can get it about anywhere
Since you don't have thick curly hair a drugstore brand would work just as well as professional tools. I have curly hair and I use Remington Wet 2 Straight ceramic straightener. It can be used on wet to moist hair and has a vent on the side for the steam. I think it cost about $40 at Longs Drugs.
theres a mary-kate and ashley brand hair straightener that straitens your hair whether you came out of the shower or you are just styling it. It really does work well.

Try True Ceramic Pro it's supposed to be the best thing out there...
Yes, there are products that help and work but all you have to do is some research. Here's a website that will help you decide what straightener is right for you. I bought mine from this website and I couldn't be happier with my purchase (it is a Solia). They have tons of reviews with pictures.
I would go with the Aveda ceramic hair streightner it has a warranty and multiple temp controls. Also for drying of the hair try aquage, its a bit pricey but WELL worth it, its a must have.

http://www.aquage.com/
being a mobile hairdresser for years,i wouldnt recomend hair straightners, they ruin your hair, and if you have fine hair you hair will break easier.
Yes, you are correct CHI is definitely the best...you should check and see if they have any straighteners that have a lower temp. or you could always use Kenra Thermal Styling Spray, which will protect your hair against the high temperatures of straighteners.

I too have very dry hair, and Redken has a lot of products that can make your hair look and feel much healthier. You should try Redken AllSoft Heavy Creme, Redken Butter Treat, or Redken Extreme Deep Conditioner. These products are all wonderful for dry hair.

Revlon ceramic hair straighteners. how good are they? especially 2'; model RV063C. reviews and feedback please

they are great. i have one. they are wonderful!!
They actaully fry your hair like crazy! Most flat irons do! But i bought this really ausome flat iron, its called the corioliss pro . I bought it for about 120 $ Its actually healing my hair! Plus it heats up in seconds, i really reccomend this product =]
Ceramic hair straighteners are far better than any other straightener strickally for the fact that with the ceramic on there it will cause less damage to your hair and be less likley to burn your hair.
there pretty good
always try to buy the straighteners with the gold medal parts... they seem to work better...

Hot Comb & Ceramic hair straighteners for African-American hair?

This question is for African-American women/ladies

I need help in finding the best hair straightener and a hot comb for my hair. My hair is very short: not up to my neck. They barely touch the back of my neck. Anyway, it is super coarse.

Any help for sistas will be awesome and appreciated.

Thanks for stopping by to read.Hot Comb %26amp; Ceramic hair straighteners for African-American hair?
First of all do buy get a perm!!! i can't stress this enough. if there is some other straightner i guess use it but then again i won't it would better if you hot combed instead. i don't like either choices i'm victims of both. if your hair is very short i would say rock a short fro. it's cute on black women. i had been straighting my hair for years, actually my mom was but at 16 my hair was hit. it was long and stringy in the back and short and a mess in the front. i started locking my hair but i'm saying you should. but please consider this from a fellow sista who has suffered. • Alternatives to ceramic hair straighteners?

Hey I just wondered if there are any alternatives to a `conventional` hair straightener as I really don't like the idea of putting my hair through two pieces of burning hot metal!! Is there any form of hair brush that heats up and straightens hair, or any other products that will make my thick wavy hair straight? :SAlternatives to ceramic hair straighteners?
you could use a blowdryer to straighten hair. it doesnt touch your hair but it does have some heat

there are some conditioners that claim to straighten hair but trust me, it doesn't work. i've tried lots

i use a ceramic hair straightener everyday and so far, i have no split ends

just don't forget to use good conditioner, deep condition treatments, and hair protectant spray

try biosilk. any questions just email meAlternatives to ceramic hair straighteners?
you can buy hairdryers with a attachment that fits on the end of the nozzle,it's shaped like a comb with big teeth, you then blow dry your hair straight, nicky clarke do a good one, so do babyliss.

BaByliss 2082U Pro 230 Straight & Curl Ceramic Hair Straighteners, i have a few questions on it?

im looking for a new hair straightener i came across this one in boots and i have a few questions on it.

1:When you have it on for a while does the heat turn down itself while using it?

    2: do theylast long?

    3: are they good quality?

4; do they straighten well?BaByliss 2082U Pro 230 Straight %26amp; Curl Ceramic Hair Straighteners, i have a few questions on it?
I found the heat doesn't turn down (takes me ages to straighten my hair, so that's good in my opinion) when in use. I've had mine for about half a year, and so far they're much better than any I've used before. Others wouldn't straighten my hair, whereas these do and they don't drag.

Only problem I have is that I sometimes accidentally press the button and turn them off when using them.BaByliss 2082U Pro 230 Straight %26amp; Curl Ceramic Hair Straighteners, i have a few questions on it?
i have used my friends when i stayed over and i think they straighten alot better than they curl hair.

babyliss tend to be a decent brand. i have the crimpers and a curling tong and the heat stays hot all the time.

how long they last, well it will depend on how often you will use them and how you look after them ect...

thxxx lovess %26lt;3A questions about ceramic hair straighteners?
No actually its true. I used to have one of those cheap drug store conair straighteners and my hair never came out perfectly straight, and it was always frizzy and had dead ends that made my hair look like a broom. Then i bought this sedu brand ($70) straightener and it made a complete difference on my hair. Its never damaged, my hair isn't frizzy at all, and it looks healthy and shinny. So actually putting in the money for products like hair straighteners is actually worth it and it makes your life easier too.A questions about ceramic hair straighteners?
Ceramic straighteners works 100% better than regular ones but yes they do damage ur hair big time.
nope no bs it keeps frizz away
I had one, it works fine if you get your hair cut about every 3 months, and don't have side bangs or might get side bangs.

    鈾?good luck.

  • Ceramic hair straightener..?

can it be used everyday, or regularly at least? what's the difference between a ceramic straightener and a metal one? I plan to invest in one :D oh, and can anyone recommend a good serum to put on my hair before straightening to protect my hair from heat? thanks.Ceramic hair straightener..?
Of course you can straighten every day! =]

However, it must be, as you've asked, a ceramic straightner and you should always put heat protective serum, spray, or balm through your hair.

I use a great balm by PPS called ';the ends'; it contains hydrolized silk which makes your hair super shiny and look reallyyyyyy healthy. You can put it through your hair straight out of the shower on either towel-dryed or completely dry hair, ive found it works better on damp hair though. It protects the hair by sealing the hair cuticle protecting it not only from your straightner or other heated styling tools, but also protecting it from pollution and damage from the environment. Ive found it to be the best through humidity and rain because it stops the frizz!

    =]Ceramic hair straightener..?
Get your metal straightener - drive out to the wilderness - and throw it out your window D:

ceramic straighteners are the way to go! :) they can be used regularly, when teamed up with a heat protector like Marc Daniels 'Go Curly: Heat Defence'. (Doesnt actually make hair curly, it works with hairdryers, flatirons, curlers, anything really :])

Ceramic doesnt damage your hair as much as metal ones. the metal ones are really, really damaging for your hair :O to the point where it will dry out or fall out, really. Invest in a ceramic one, it is definately definately worth it! :]
Ceramic hair straightners are absolutely the best.

If you want a good one, do not get anything other than ceramic.

And if you want a good serum, try Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum.

It helps straighten and protect your hair, and it smells great, too!
it can be used everyday but you should alway wear serum.. ceramic straightners are alot better then metal ones in my opionion i would get the chi its really good i love it... also use got 2 be crazy sleek flat iron and blow dry lotion its sooooo good my hair looks so nice and straight with i would really recommend it... hope i helped bye
Ceramic seals in the cuticle and does less damage than the metal. The metal will definitely break the strongest of hair. Don't do it every day. The thicker the hair, the stronger, but I'd still do it once a week max. If you have fine or curly hair, like maybe once a month. Those things will kill your ends. Use a product before you straighten like Fekkai Color Tech serum.
You can definitely use a hair straightener everyday. Just make sure you are using some kind of straightening cream so your hair takes less damage. And, I definitely recommend a cream instead of a spray...the thickness will protect your hair better.
i use a ceramic one everyday [= and there is this brand of serume its called chi and its in a silver bottle with red lid =] it seems to work very well in my hair

Do ceramic hair straighteners work? im a guy with long bushy hair?

Im not really used to looking after my hair, and im at a stage where if i want my hair to look good ive got to pay attention to it.

I have long hair, that looks awesome wet (cos its straight), but when it dries it goes frizzy. Will a striaghtener make it hang dead straight, or just remove a little of the frizDo ceramic hair straighteners work? im a guy with long bushy hair?
If you buy a really good ceramic flat iron you should do well. Cheap irons just remove the frizz. Make sure you use a good styling product to help it stay straight. Some product lines are made specifically to help make hair straight. Try one of those along with the flat iron and you'll be straight as an arrow!! LOLDo ceramic hair straighteners work? im a guy with long bushy hair?
yes it will...make sure you put a heat styling product on though so you dont damage your hair (high heat can make it break off)...or just cut your hair. i like shorter hair on guys, but if you think youre hot with long hair, go for it.
yes they do. Im a hair stylist at Paul Mitchell and make sure you buy one that is at least $40
I have a hair straightner from walmart and it cost $17, it works very well, my cousin has VERY CURLY hair and it works great on her hair, so I would say go with that if your not wanting to spend too much money.
It will hang dead straight, if you want to insure that it does, put some antifrizz serum in it.
    Yes they do,I have one
I have the same problem !! but i`m a girl lol i wish it would rain all day every day lol .. best thing you can do is have a good cut and use a serum before you put any staighteners near your hair , if you don`t want it to look really straight then staighten it and then scrunch some mousse into it just to take the edge of the staightness , you will still have movement but no frizz !! hope this helps x
depending on what level you put it on it can either remove a little frizz or make it dad straight. you may also want to try some heat protection products so that you don't fry your hair.
yea they do. i have a conair ceramic iron. it works good. and get some frizz stuff to control the frizz in bad weather.
lol.. thats funny ....get a chi andsome hairspray %26amp;hair oil
    no
using it requires some technique and I would recommend a anti-friz cream/serum as well.
yes they do work, I have a wavy hair and hair irons/straighteners work for me...the people who said no probably didnt used it rightly...make sure that you you shampoo and then put conditioner on your hair during your bath and have it dried up and chereng!

    straight it up!

have fun being yourself and knowing what you want and how you want to look like okies?
I dont like ceramic starightners. I have really thick hair and the ceramic ones just dont get as hot . So no they dont work. Try a chi. or this site

    http://www.folica.com/flat_irons.htm
    Dear brickjacks,

It just depends on your hair style, Is your hair thick or thin, if its thin dont use the straitiner ALOT. you can also use frizz control hair gel, that might calm it down. hope this helps, but i have to say try the gel first straightening your hair can ruin it in the long run.

    puppydogs123
i would think so but over tiem ANY straightener can fry someone's hair without protecting it but i hear the chi...sedu...and solia are the best tho a lil pricey....

What is the best quality for a fair price ionic-ceramic hair straightener?

My beautician says I can't buy one for under $200.! I initially told her I was thinking about buying the Maxi-glide off Tv but she said that was not as good as one that was ionic, but that they're very expensive. I like the idea of the Maxi-glide using steam and teeth but she says that would ultimately dry my hair out even more (I color my hair). As a stylist, I have used a lot of flat irons/hair straighteners, including Sedu, Hai, Infrashine, Chi, Paul Mitchell, Solia, Big Sexy, Andis, Babyliss Ghd, T3, Kenta etc. You should get a Professional hair straightener, they style much better and faster, and most importantly, they protect your hair.

    In terms of performance:

The best ones are: Sedu, Kenta, Solia, Infrashine, Ghd. These are top of the line professional brands

Above average: Chi, Hai, Paul Mitchell,

Average: T3, Big Sexy, Andis, Babyliss

Below Average: Conair, Vidal Sassoon, Revlon, Bed Head etc. These are cheap consumer brands that you will find in drugstore. If you care about your hair, do NOT buy them.

Does the Infiniti Cordless Tourmaline Ceramic Hair Straightener by Conair (1 1/2';) Work?

I am a fourteen year old girl with thick shoulder length hair. I'm looking for a straightener that is fairly cheap and that works! The one I have now does work, but it takes a really long time to get it perfectly straight, but after a couple of hours it starts to wear off. I would like to know if anyone has used THIS hair straightener? And is it good for the price? Please help, thanks.

http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.d鈥?/a>Does the Infiniti Cordless Tourmaline Ceramic Hair Straightener by Conair (1 1/2';) Work?
Hi, it really depends on how hot it gets. Find an iron that heats up to about300 degrees and has temp settings on it. Play around with the settings until you find the right temperature for your hair type.

You don't need to spend a small fortune.

Keep in mind that it is not the brand name of the iron that flattens your hair, it's the temperature. And technique. Just flatten your hair in small sections and it should stay alot longer

STUFF EM ALL! NOTHING GETS BETTER THAN THE GHD!
The expensive one is the best, duh!

What are the best value ceramic hair straighteners?

Ideally- I dont want to pay more than 50 pounds . My hair is medium lengthWhat are the best value ceramic hair straighteners?
I've tried a few different hair straighteners, but GHDs are by far the best. They are expensive but are definitely worth it. They heat up to 207 degrees in 7 seconds. They are hard wearing and will last you years. Worth investing in. (i got mine on ebay, much cheaper there!)What are the best value ceramic hair straighteners?
The best place to go is Sally's' hair and beauty supplies. I got mine from there, they stock all straighteners that are in the Hairdressers. There is also some which you can buy direct from the Internet. www.ghsdirect.com. As recommended by my sister.
i have ghd's very expensive but are really good before i had ghd's i had remington straightners there just as good just take's a little longer but for 拢25 pound who's complaning about taking an extra 10 mins.if you do get remingtons 1 word of advice dont wrap the cord round them it breaks them really quickley.
i love my ghds but they are expensive
Avoid Remington wet 2 straight ones, I have them and used them once, they're crap
I have Tresemme and they are excellent. These cost me 拢20-拢30 and I have same length hair as you. Great value staright every time
I've always found remington quite good. I've got the wet to straight ones at the moment which I wouldn't fork out for again, but all the other remington ones I've had have been wicked
GHD hair straighteners are by far the best value for money, I had tried the cheaper versions of ceramic straighteners but found some of them lost the ceramic coating and turned my hair green (not a great style for a night out), others just took so long to heat up and actually straighten my hair, I had to go over the same section a number of times before my hair was what I would call straight. With the ghd ceramic straighteners they heat up a lot quicker and straighten the hair on the first glide down the sections. Ghd salon irons are 拢75.50 and worth every penny. Good luck with your search I do hope you find what your looking for. I have checked up on different sites and would advise you to check out the web addresses below. In the dooyoo site I recommend going to saks professional straighteners-reviews
ive got babyliss pro 230c straighteners but not sure how much they are. you can buy them anywhere. they look the same as the GHD ones and are just as good
    either conair or remington

    both are excellent
    try www.hairstuffdirect.co.uk

Better than ghd and a lot cheaper - the wife loves the ones I bought for her

Sad but true and yes I do need to get out more
i have one vidal sasson before and they work good...i bought babyliss one clearance at argos, think 拢60 now拢30 but they so so bad,not make my hair straight at all, they glass one not ceramic...avoid them... so u should look around for deal,go to boots store too, they have great range of it.
ive heared the Remington ones are really good. get them from argos
Make sure you buy ones that heat up to 230 degrees. Some only heat to 180 and they are rubbish. Mine are FHI. I bought them on the internet and they are great.
i have nicky clarke ceramics, about 拢25 from argos....very similar to ghd but cheaper, the diff temps.
I have one that's called Revlon. I bought it at wal-mart , it's fast and it works great. You should try it!

Straight perm vs ceramic hair straightener?

i have been using my ceramic hair straightener for school.

which is basically everyday excluding weekends and holidays.

but it has been giving me a lot of split ends. ( i have been using the straightener with a protective serum)

i was considering getting a straight perm done, since it wont give me split ends from constantly heating my hair and it lasts a lot longer.

but the thing is, do these perms damage your hair even more than a hair straightener would?

    can you tell me:

    what are the advantages of

a ceramic hair straightener over a straight perm

    what are the advantages of

a straight perm over a ceramic hair straightener

    what are the disadvantages of

a ceramic hair straightener over a straight perm

    what are the disadvantages of

a straight perm over a ceramic hair straightener

best answer gets 10 points if you can answer those questions for me. personal experience is a plus.

thankyou :)Straight perm vs ceramic hair straightener?
go for the perm, darl ;)

  • Why are ceramic hair straighteners better than those without ceramic plates??

Could anyone explain what role ceramic plays here? Why are ceramic hair straighteners better than those without ceramic plates??
When used correctly, a flat iron is the ideal tool for temporarily making your hair perfectly straight. Flat irons come with a variety of different coatings, depending on the plating鈥攆rom chrome to gold (well, metal with a gold color) to ceramic. Originally, all hairstylists used gold-plated irons because it was believed they delivered concentrated heat to the hair evenly and smoothly. Over the past few years, gold-plated flat irons have been replaced in most professional hairstylists' tool drawers with ceramic-plated versions.

Despite the claims that ceramic flat irons can seal moisture in the hair or repair hair, neither is true in the least, in fact heat generated by any styling tool is potentially damaging. What truly makes ceramic the preferred material is that the surface is incredibly smooth. There is no pulling or tugging at the hair, and that prevents breakage and greatly reduces damage. Ceramic flat irons also allow the surface area of the iron to get uniformly hot, and even, high heat makes it possible to make hair remarkably stick-straight. On a personal note, I find ceramic flat irons just amazing. They allow me control over my hair that would take twice as long if I only used a round brush and blow dryer. To get the best straight-looking style, with the most volume, I blow my hair dry first with a round brush and then touch up with the flat iron. It works beautifully every time.

Some flat irons have teeth as a way to help you remove knots or tangles as you smooth the flat iron over the hair. That is an option, but the trick is to be sure the teeth are aiming downward so they comb through the hair ahead of the ceramic-plate part of the flat iron.

Before you touch any flat iron to your hair, it is critical that your hair is completely dry. If hair is wet, the heat from the flat iron will literally steam the water inside the hair shaft, bringing it to a boil, and that can rupture the hair in those areas. It is also imperative to keep the iron moving over the hair at all times. Never allow the iron to rest on any one part or you will fry the area. Why are ceramic hair straighteners better than those without ceramic plates??
i dont know anything about hair straighteners but i do know about ceramics. ceramics handle heat better than any metal, their properties are ideal for insulation, therefore less heat would escape the straightener. they can withstand extreme heat without breaking. if you think about pottery, clay if fired at almost 2000 degress and only becomes stronger
In ceramic hair straighteners, the plates are made of ceramic materials. Ceramic protects your hair because it emits gentle ';infra-red heat';, helping lock in moisture and prolong hair color. Tourmaline has similar properties.
I have a ceramic straightner and it works SOOO good. it gets way hotter. the ceramic holds the heat in so it doesnt damage your hair as much . My hairstylist says its better than a straightner without ceramic plates
ceramic handles high heat better than most applications. and the cost of making a straightener using ceramic on a high volume production, gets very costly. ceramic is a better product, made to last.
ceramic flat irons add negative ions to your hair and it smooths and straightens your hair.
i think because the ceramic distibutes the heat more evenly than ones that dont
    ii %26lt;3 STAiiGHTENERS .. =]
    because it gets alot hotter.
ceramic is less likely to scorch your hair

I have thick, coarse, wavy hair I am looking for a ceramic hair straightener that also curls the ends. any tip

The Chi Iron is the best iron on the market (aside fromt he mythological infrared iron). It can cost between 89-140 dollars... I strongly recomend you purchase it at a salon. Professional products are not guaranteed by the company if they are purchased somewhere that does not have a salon license. The one-inch iron is easy to use for fliping ends, simply flip the iron in or out as you are reaching the last 3 inches of your hair shaft.I have thick, coarse, wavy hair I am looking for a ceramic hair straightener that also curls the ends. any tip
yOu should use sOlia ceramic tourmaline striaghtening irOn.. ive been using that fOr a long time now..and its really good..it makes ur hair really shiny... and straight..and u can sleep with it and wake up with ur hair still straight... plus its cheap.. i got mine for 85 dOllars... go to www.folica.com to buy it..thas where i got mine... =]

    Chi Ceramic Hair Straightener!?

ok, i have been using this for a long time and i just went to my hairstylist and she did this thing where she kind of curled my hair WITH the hair straightener...it seemed very easy to do but it seems there is a special way...cuz, when i got home to try this technique i couldnt get it to work!

    does anyone know how!?

    thanks!

    %26lt;3Chi Ceramic Hair Straightener!?
ok this depends on how u wanna curl it or maybe u mean flip it a bit so its an outward curl? i really cant tell u bec im not sure what she did exactly but i do know how to do it. u can depending on what the straightner looks like but u can take it and just wrap a section of uer hair around it ,then open the iron and roll back. hope that makes sense. goodluck and maybe ask her to show u again.

    Best ceramic hair straightener? ?

I'm looking for a really good ceramic hair straightener that doesn't damage my hair from the heat. I have short to medium hair length and i dont want a too heavy straightener. Conair infiniti is amazing!
Check out http://www.topstraighteningiron.com. The site has some great information about the best hair straighteners and where you can find them at the lowest price.
I would say a chi irons its worth every last penny.
from personal experience with the CHI, the wire broke twice so I decided to go with a Sedu flat iron which worked even better than CHI.

I suggest either getting Sedu or Solia (I've heard alot of great comments about that flat iron)

    hope i helped :)

ohh I almost forgottt! haha Sedu is also known as the ';lightfeather flat iron'; or something like that. Chi flat iron was seriously 2 times heavier than Sedu.

Conair Ceramic Hair straightener. Is it any good?

My gf wants a ceramic hair straightener for christmas. Is a Conair one any good? I hear all the salon ones like Chi and HAI. Well those are damn expensive. Is there a big difference with them. As you can tell I am a typical guy and don't see a difference lol. Would these salon ones be worth the extra $150 compared to a conair one?Conair Ceramic Hair straightener. Is it any good?
those con air ones SUX trust me. i would invest in the CHI because it does the job better then anything out there plus its well worth the money o and you get what you pay for with those cheap con-air ones--crapConair Ceramic Hair straightener. Is it any good?
I have tried both conair and chi and out of the two I would go with chi...I have also used the paul mitchelle ceramic straightener and I really love it!!! It gets my hair straight and really silky!!! If your girlfriend is picky don't go with the cheaper version only because they don't work as well.
    conair is usually pretty good.

i would just say make sure it has an adjustable heat.

i don't like the Chi personally cause you can't change the heat setting. and sometimes you have to do parts of your hair on low heat than others.

    i think you're good.
i have that hair straightner and its perdy good it works for me ! you should get it . i have wild curls and it takes me about 20 minutes with that thing.! you should get it kk!
i own one and its good:D

i agree wit u does chi ones are expensive lol
    yes its a good one

  • Best ceramic hair straightener?

My hair's pretty difficult to straighten. It's not curly, but just pretty resistant. Can anyone recommend a very good ceramic hair straightener, or any hair straightener for that matter, that leaves your hair straight longer than 10 minutes?

    Thanks. =)Best ceramic hair straightener?
chi is overrated. it's seriously nothing special when compared to other top-of-the-line straighteners %26amp; they are known to break down (that's why their warranty is only 6 months vs other brands which have at least 1 year). i think the reason why people are so crazy about it is because they use the cheapo ones from walmart or sumthin %26amp; then switch to chi from all the hype %26amp; of course they're gonna think it's some godly product.

    hai is really really good.

I LOVE MY CORIOLISS....I have mixed hair...so its pretty thick, and I can straighten super fast with leaving it straight shiny and smooth usually doing a once over!

    I paid 40.00 on ebay!
I LOVE my CHI. It is quite the splurge but it is amazing!
remmington wet to straight, it works wonders on difficult hair, my friend has supper thick long ringlet curly hair and i got it straight for her in 20 minutes
I love my CHI ceramic flat iron. It was $120 but its totally worth it.

I have thick wavy hair that gets fried easily but this keeps it shiny and healthy too.

Will a ceramic hair straightener still burn my hair?

will a ceramic hair straightener still burn my hair ?

my hair is very dry as it is.

please help me get back the softness that i once hadWill a ceramic hair straightener still burn my hair?
miss kay its tuff to retrieve the softness when you make it straight every few days try deep conditioning treatments go to sallys you will get great product for a reasonable price and use it faithfully hopefully that straight trend wont last long our teens hair is all in terrible shape goodluck hunny hair designer hereWill a ceramic hair straightener still burn my hair?
Yes it could if the temp is too high.
my a certain product. no starightenr will burn your hair but it will damage ur hair with frizz
yes. its applying direct heat to your hair and frying the crap out of it. just blow dry it straight. you dont need to use a straightener.
no, it won't because that's what they are invented for
One word. Condition. You need to get products such as Herbal Essence's Hello Hydration line or Sunsilk's Hydra TLC. Sunsilk Hydra TLC is made in a deep conditioning masque that you can use every day if needed. Also, you need to protect your hair while straightening it so use a flat iron spray such as Herbal Essence's Dangerously Straight Flat Iron Spray or VO5's Miracle! spray. Good luck.
Anything that is heat is going to burn your hair, make sure you protect your hair with moisterizers like conditioner. Also try using a hot oil treatment and a heat protectorant for heat styling.
Ceramic can still burn your hair don't turn it up full blast unless you have ticker ethnic hair.I suggest using a heat protection cream (like L'oreal ';Hot Straight';) %26amp; also use a deep conditioner 2-3 times a week. Let your hair air dry before straightening, don't blow dry right before, that's how I do it :)
It will dry it out and frizz the ends if you use it daily.
it doesn't burn my hair, but i use a protectant spray to protect it from heat damage. i like paul mitchell heat spray, but most store brands have something similar
ceraminc will burn your hair a little but you can used a protection spary before using the straightener. I personally use sleek.look b by matrix and it works for me. Good luck!!!!
A ceramic straightener should not burn your hair. But dont straighten your hair if it is still wet and also i would suggest getting a Moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. There are also product for after you straighten you hair to lessen the damage done. All straighteners will over time hurt your hair a ceramic one is the best choice and if you take care of your hair well then it should never happen......... you could also take breaks from striaghtening your hair so it has a chance to revive another thing is to wash your hair in cold water whic would make in shinier

What is the best ceramic hair straightener?

one that i could get @ walgreens???What is the best ceramic hair straightener?
Well I'm not sure you can find any that are very good at walgreens...The best ceramic straightener would be a chi...It usually costs anywhere from 80-100 dollars. Hope I helped! What is the best ceramic hair straightener?
good luck..those r all cheap..if u wanna good one u have to spend close to $80 for one..
one that is made of ceramic
no stop being cheap, please go to sally's beauty supply store it will cost you 80.00 and it is worth it.
i dont know about Walgreens, but i suggest the True Ceramic Pro, the one on the infomercials. It casts 90 bucks tho, but trust me, its good
    conair inphiniti!!!

best ever! and its not too expensive either!

    goodluck!
    Hot Gold
    Wet2Dry
    conair sells good ones
u can get good ones at ulta for like 20$
I got Remington straightner form Target for $25.00 %26amp; I love it!

Why is a ceramic hair straightener considered better than a non-ceramic hair straightener?

Traditional hair straightener's heat, penetrates hair from the outside-in, exposing hair to moisture loss and damage. Ceramic Flat iron's far-infared heat penetrates hair quickly, heats hair evenly from the inside-out, straightens hair in a fraction of the time with superior results and with far less damage. Why is a ceramic hair straightener considered better than a non-ceramic hair straightener?
Its all just a scam to get more money out of you. It isn't really ';ceramic'; as they claim it to be. Ceramic and non-ceramic straighteners are the same. Why is a ceramic hair straightener considered better than a non-ceramic hair straightener?
It evenly distributes heat so that you don't burn your hair.

  • Ceramic hair straightener?

do ceramic hair straighteners damage the hair? is it any different compared to the other metal plates? and what happens if i use it everyday just on my fringe? i put loads of moisturizer on it though.Ceramic hair straightener?
ceramic straighteners are better for your hair than regular metal ones... the ceramic keeps an even heat all the way through, and won't scorch and burn in some places. chi makes the best ceramic straighteners, but they can be pricey (however, you'll be getting your money's worth) also, you'll want to get the ones with the smaller plates (about 1'; wide.) the large plates take longer to heat up, and don't get your hair as straight on the first pass through it.

make sure your hair is fully and totally dry before straightening it though. if the moisturizer that you use on your fringe has water in it, it's possible that it could boil your hair all the way to the core.Ceramic hair straightener?
there atre new straighteners with tourmaline plates, these are much better for you hair also try not 2 use it everyday but if must then make sure u use a deep conditioner and a heat protection styler

    Titanium or ceramic hair straightener?

which is better? suggestible brands???Titanium or ceramic hair straightener?
Using titanium or ceramic hair irons will result to straight hair. Some brands say that using a ceramic iron is better because heat is equally distributed to the hair strands, while some brands claim that titanium iron is better because of equal distribution of heat on hair, it's lightweight, and it retains moisture while ironing the hair.

Whether your hair iron is titanium, ceramic or ionic, they all will give you hair that is straightened. But remember, these irons apply heat directly on the hair which is very damaging to the hair (for that matter, heat from hair blower, or even from the sun can cause damage to hair). What is important is TO ALWAYS APPLY A THERMAL PROTECTOR ON YOUR HAIR before applying heat from hair iron (whatever type or brand), or even hair blow dryer.

Hope the above info helps :)Titanium or ceramic hair straightener?
Here is a web site you can check out and make the decision yourself:
The best straightener out there is the Chi, but you better be will to shell out the bucks for that one concidering its a little on the pricey side. And between the two titanium it works better with your hair and is more durable over all compared to ceramic straighteners
    ceramic
I think ceramic hair straightener is more better because it make your hair look nice and it is easy to do any any hair style that you want.
YUKO JAPANESSE straightening. you have to go to a salon to get it done though. go to their website. they should still have the pictures up. i had it done last yr and it works soo good. i was afraid it would wash out but it didnt. and it last for a yr. then you'll have to get your roots touched up.

its kinda expensive. like a dollar a day. but its soo worth the results!!!
i would suggest anything that says ';ionic'; its straightens your hair without taking the moisture out
I use a GHD ceramic straightener and its brilliant. you can straighten, curl, and make waves with it. as long as you use a protective serum or spray, your hair will not get burnt by the plates, which i found was a problem with my old metal plated straightener.

Are the Conair Ceramic hair straighteners any good?

I bought a Conair hair straightener, but I don't know if it works that well. My hair is a little below shoulder lenghth and it's naturally straight but it's curly at the ends. Will it make my hair really dry?Are the Conair Ceramic hair straighteners any good?
With the right products your hair will suffer minimal damage. Try a product from VO5 called Heat Defense before straightening. Also, every two weeks try a deep conditioner to help hair stay moisturized and manageable. Are the Conair Ceramic hair straighteners any good?
i hav a conair straighner that i bought from walmart for bout $20

it works really good if u mean by drying out damaging or getting split ends then yes it will if u use evryday but use a good conditioner but it takes a while to first getting split ends if u wash ur hair regulary and dont go ovr it a million times or put it too hot
I have curls on the front of my hair only and i have a conair straitener and i love it. Try getting some heat protector spray for your hair. I use got 2 b smooth.

Why are some 100% Ceramic hair straighteners more expensive than others?

I was offered to buy an imported 100% Ceramic hair straightener today for $150, but then I found a 100% Ceramic hair straightener online for $49.99-79.99.

I have waist length wavy hair. I'm using the most recommended chi ceramic hair straightener.?

My hair remains straight for a couple of hours %26amp; then gets wavy again. I've seen people having so sleek hair after straightening. Should I be using some kind of straightening serum or cream prior to straightening with iron? Can u guys recommend something that helps to keep the hair straight %26amp; sleek for a whole day? Thanks.I have waist length wavy hair. I'm using the most recommended chi ceramic hair straightener.?
I think that you're probably not straightning it right, because when I do it, it lasts at least 3 days, I have curly hair! Just make sure you separate your hair, and straighten it one inch at a time. Use any straightning serum!I have waist length wavy hair. I'm using the most recommended chi ceramic hair straightener.?
I have very coarse, thick, wavy hair and I too was frusrated with humidity and all the products out there that claimed to work but didn't. Then I found ';Maxiglide'; which has changed the way my hair looks for the better. Maxiglide is a hairstraightner that uses little combs and steam to make your hair look beautiful and shiny. It keeps your hair straight all day and I don't even use any hair products to help. You can get it on the internet, just search under Maxiglide by maxius several websites sell it. It worked GREAT for me and I hope it does the same for you.
maybe turn up the heat setting?
if you live somewhere wet or humid, you're hair is gonna go back to the way it was eventually by the end of the day.

but using any serum, or any product will REALLY make the straight-ness stick.

put up the full heat on your iron tho. and do it more than once, to each strip/section to get it bone straight and for it to stay.

  • How do I get gunk off the sides of my ceramic hair straighteners?

I have managed to get hairspray or gel or something on the sides of my ceramic straighteners. When I pull them down my hair they drag and break the hair. Can i use nail varnish remover without damaging the plates? How do I get gunk off the sides of my ceramic hair straighteners?
use rubbing alcohal and a cotton ballHow do I get gunk off the sides of my ceramic hair straighteners?
You can try the rubbing alcohol, but if it is burned on, that will not work. I know you will think I'm nuts, but I promise this works like a charm, and makes it like new. Spray on oven cleaner, heat up the iron for about 10 minutes, then let it cool and wipe off the ';stuff'; with a damp towel (one you can throw away).
I've always used rubbing alcohol... seems to work well and doesn't cause any harm or damage to the iron.
    Rubbing alcohol works.
The easiest way is to use straight ammonia. The smell is super strong, so open a window or clean it outside. This is the fastest way though. Just pour some straight ammonia on a clean, dry cloth and wipe down where it needs to be clean. It may take a lot of wiping, depending on how gunky your appliance is.
I used to do hair, %26amp; I got alot of hair spray %26amp; gel build up, I used an S.O.S pad on mine, just un hook it %26amp; Run your steel wool under water %26amp; gently scrub off.
I would use a damp towel and just wipe it down

honestly, you aren't going to find anything decent for under 30. I have a paul brown iron and when I bought it, it was nearly $300.00.What is the best 1'; ceramic hair straightener that is under $30?
you get what you pay for. Chances are really great that you are going to tare your hair up. I would save and invest in a Chi. They are around $100, but they are wonderful.
I'm not sure if it is under $30, but I like the Remington Wet to Straight. It works really well.

although with a limit of $30 your choice is gonna be very limited - straighters are expensive!
i use the conair ceramic one...it works great on my hair and my hair is natural
I like the Revlon ones, they're inexpensive. Try looking at CVS. That's where I found a lot!
At the mall I bought a Corioless ceramic straighter for about $100 bucks. I love it, it works great. I recommended it to my friend and she bought it on Ebay brand new for $40 bucks. Its the same and works great. At the mall they try to sell you the pink or purple model for about $30 buck more, and on ebay the pink and purple model is also a little more expensive, that a rip off, the only difference is the color.I bought the regular black one, so did my friend. Good luck!
Remington wet 2 straight. Its good for all hair types and actually works. You can use it with wet or dry hair it does drying and straightening at once. I bought mine at wal-mart for under 30 dollars when it first came out. Its just about 30 dollars now I think.
vidal sasoon i got mine for like $20 and it does a good job .... you can get it at target
I know of no one who has ceramic hair.
I have never seen an authentic ceramic iron THAT CHEAP... !!!

Let me know when you find it...!!!!
I personally use a 1'; REMINGTON Wet 2 Straight Ceramic Straightener. They range is price from $28 - $32 and can be purchased at Wal-Mart, other stores or online. You can use to dry and straighten your hair at once because of it's steam vents, or place it on a lower heat setting to use on dry hair.
    They are all the same.

Cheapest(and I mean cheapest) ceramic hair straightener?

My hair is not thin nor thick so it doesnt take but 1 swipe of the straightener to do it...so its not like its gonna damage my hair

and where can I get it (walmart, cvs, rite aid, kmart are all near by..)Cheapest(and I mean cheapest) ceramic hair straightener?
A 20$ dollar one at target or walmart

or a used one on ebayCheapest(and I mean cheapest) ceramic hair straightener?
Trust me DON';T buy a cheap one! Ask any hair stylist or ANYONE with experience who has tried both. You CAN';T find a cheap one (or a drugstore one from one of the places you mentioned) that actually works. They don't get hot enough!!! It will be a complete waste of money! You should save for a brand name one from a salon! (They actually work!) Plus, they last longer and are healthier for your hair!

I can't express how IMPORTANT that is! Cheap ones DON';T WORK!!!
well at walmart they have them. its by conair and it is $13. i have thick hair and it worked fine for me. :)
wal-mart the con-air one is only $13 or $14. i personally don't need a straightner but several of my friends have this one and they love it.
    walmart
Please don't buy a cheap straightener, I did and it fried my hair, you WILL ruin your hair.

How long do good ceramic hair straighteners last?

I'm thinking of getting a good ceramic hair straightener like the chi, solia, sedu, etc (I'm leaning towards the chi). I was wondering how long they last because they are pretty expensive. So if anybody knows how long they usually last, please respond. Thanks!!!How long do good ceramic hair straighteners last?
chi is the best brand...mostly all hair stylists i talk with suggest it...i personally use CHI...ive been using that brand for 5 years...it never failed me. it is worth the money...if you are worried about the cost, go on ebay, thats where i got my second one(i stepped on the first)..jus make sure you are saving money not paying more...good luck! How long do good ceramic hair straighteners last?
get the chi its the best and last a long time
as long as you take care of them and dont drop them especially while they are on(thats how i broke mine)
Well it pretty much depends on how often you use it and how well you take it. I use mine almost everyday and I'm not that hard on it and I usually have to buy a new one every 1 year 1/2- 2years.
I have a really good chi one. Ive had it for 2 years and its still working great
I beleive they last for about 2 to 3 years. All beauty salons are using them now.
Well we own all kind of brands and really it all depends on how careful you are, dont drop them clean them regularly , dry almost completly your hair before using one. Store it in its box when cold and all that good stuff. Get a warranty . CHI gives you 3 years , which is really good becuase all others are 1 year. Now if you buy one from Sally beauty supply , buy their warranty too ($5) so if anything happens they will replace it or fix it. I know their brands are not professional but they are coming better and better and in fact i have a couple of stylists here that have Sallys Jibere flat irons forever. Consider we use them a lot more that you will do on yourself.

How good are Revlon Ceramic hair straighteners?

I'm getting a new hair straightener and I don't have much money. Looking around, I found a Revlon Ceramic straightening iron that was fairly cheap. Are they any good or should I wait, save up, and buy something better? My hair is mostly straight, just at the end it curls so I don't need a super amazing straightener, just one that will turn the tips from wavy to straight. How good are Revlon Ceramic hair straighteners?
not very good.. i had one and it slowly stopped getting as hot after just a couple months of use (and i never even used it that much) as to where it would barely straighten my hair..

after that i bought a solia from folica.com and its been the best! ive had it about a year and no problems at all : ) and you can set the degree temperature up to 400 degrees as well. How good are Revlon Ceramic hair straighteners?

Will a ceramic hair straightener still burn my hair?

will a ceramic hair straighener still burn my hair? Will a ceramic hair straightener still burn my hair?
yesWill a ceramic hair straightener still burn my hair?
Its not good for you hair but its better then using a regular flat iron. Use a product to protect your hair and it wont be so harsh.
Any straightener is bad for the hair but ceramic ones seem to be the best ones when doing so. Although it is better to use a ceramic one in terms of straightening, the hair will still suffer damage no matter what.
How long are you holding it on there- it does dry out your hair and lead to damage over time but as for actually burning your hair as long as you are using it properly it won't.
only if u leave it on for too long.....they work great in my hair when i want it straight...makes it smoother and actually softer/healthier feeling then a regular straightener...
it will but it is a lot better for your hair. The best kind that I found was a Chi. It is expensive but it won't destroy your hair. I am dependant on it. There is product that you can put on your hair prior to using the flat iron that protects it too.

    Good luck!!
If you leave it in too long, yes.
If it's up too high for your hair, if you still have moisture in your hair from the shower, if you have fine hair and you have bleached it, if you don't put a product to help protect your hair from the heat, or if you leave it on the same spot for too long, yes it will.
it can if the heat is up too high. to test it take a kleenex and put it between the straightener, if the paper turns yellow its too hot!
i have used a ceramic one now for over 2 yrs and it has never burned my hair but always make it silky and shiny. Plus, they make a spray to use when you use straighteners that helps protect your hair. I use Thermasilk protector.
If your hair is already treated, ie- permed, dyed, bleached, relaxed, etc., then yes, it very well could. You should use it on a low heat setting, leave it on your hair for only a second or two, and not use it every day if you want to prevent damage.

    Capelli bei ceramic hair straightener?

Has anyone tried this brand? Is it good? Would you recommend it? I'm not sure if I should get it or not. I saw it on ebay.Capelli bei ceramic hair straightener?
I have not tried this brand however...

    1. I know that ceramic straighteners are damiging to hair

    look for tourmaline straighteners instead

    2. Ebay is not a very trust worthy place to buy from

go to a salon or beauty supply store there will be a great variety to choose fromCapelli bei ceramic hair straightener?
if it is a chemical straightener it could ruin ur hair but if not it will probably work or just sk a hairdresser or stylist about it
CHI's do not last long. They break way too easily. Don't waste your money, and don't listen to the one's that are telling you it's the best. Sedu is one of the best straighteners out there and it is only $100.

To purcase a Sedu at the cheapest price, go to Folica.com , scroll to the very top and click on Hair Styling. On the left hand side, there will be and A - Z brand list. Find Sedu, click on it, and everything else from there is self - explanitory.

    Or follow this link:

For more information on a Sedu, you can go to sedubeauty.com.

    Curling with a Sedu:

    http://youtube.com/watch?v=k57daS_c_yI

I would also recommend using a 1 inch instead of 1 1/2 inch, because the 1 1/2 doesn't do curls very well.

It reaches 410 degrees, with tempature control. CHI does not have tempature control. That means if the set tempature is too high for your hair, it can fry.

Celebrities have nice hair, and they don't use CHI. They use Sedu. There is something called Sedu hairstyles on every beauty website. No CHI hairstyles right?

Also, on Folica.com, people can post reviews on products after they have tried them. Here are they stats on CHI:

63 people say it is 1 star (bad) out of out of 1174 total reviews.

    Sedu:

20 people say it is 1 star (bad) out of 3724 total reviews.

    That speaks for itself.

ceramic onlyWhich cause hair dryness more, the metal or ceramic hair straightener?
Metal!! Allways use a ceramic straightner!!!
    I'm pretty sure that ceramic is better than metal. :}

Which ceramic hair straightener is best AND cheapest...?

FHI, Sedu, or Solia? (remember to say how much it is!)Which ceramic hair straightener is best AND cheapest...?
the cheapest is the FHI which is around $75-100 but the best one is SEDU and it's $115-140 out of those.

But I would recommend the CHI or the MK4 Hair straightener ( I sell these products) I can sell to you for $85, their retail value rates between $120-150

GHD hair straightener. *I did see one for sale for $15 once but,

i bought mine about 7 months ago and it works great!!! i paid $170 for it but since it was awhile ago the price had to go down by now. It was created in Europe but i bought in the US

you can curl, straighten, crimp your hair with it. (with out changing the plates) its is so hard to break...(i can be slammed on the floor as hard as you want. its piratically indestructible)

it only goes up to a certain temp. so it wont burn your hair, you can use it while your hair is still damp.

they only take 15 secs. to start up. and when unplugged it cools fast too. so you never have to wait long

its is professional so it has a 9ft cord so you can take it far lol

i use it all the time and it has never let me down yet.

If you want a hair straightener that lasts for years... your gonna have to spend more then 20 bucks.

I got mine for $40 at ULTA and its been almost four years.

    CONAIR IS CHEAP!!!

    DO NOT USE IT!

Their products burn your hair faster then you can say peanut butter!

I'd say ask your mom, but tell her that your first hair straightener would last longer AND work better.

But remember, don't burn your hair off!

Use it wisely and start of slow and steady.

    ULTA has many good choices.

Even if your hair is thick, thin, dry, or oily. It really doesn't matter because they have such a great variety you'll be very surprised.

Browse around at www.ULTA.com and find a store near you!

    I hope I helped. ;)
Revlon;s ceramics work really well. i really like mine but its about 3 years old. so its kinda hard to find. the model number is RV063 but i've searched for it and cant find it.

    1) You can ask your hairdresser to get you a good one at a store were they only sell hair products to licenced hair dressers.

    2)Matrix sleek look works great!!
Umm, well a good iron for $20 i dont really think you can findd. You can try a drug pharmacy that have cheap irons but wont be that good.

    Sorry.
$20 is kinda cheap. really good ones are at least 25-35 dollars, if not more. I suggest looking for sales. I have a conair and it works wonders! Save your money and invest in one, you won't regret it :)
well i no u said $20 but CHI is amazing i LOVE mine there expensive but u can always try ebay!
good luck finding a good one for around $20

How do you clean a ceramic hair straightener?

My straightener is a ceramic CHI straightener, and it smells horrible when I straighten my hair.

I'd recommend Sedu 1'; Tourmaline flat iron.

=)Is a ceramic hair straightener the best straightener??
yeah that will help you out alot !!!but you don't have to get the ceramic one.i got one that's only $20.00 ask for a less expensive one they work just as good
    chi or sedu

i have the chi and it works great and made my dull hair shiny

but i've heard better things about the sedu
    you should go to folica.com

they have the best ceramic irons there

they even have a list of the best sellers

i would recommend you the SEDU

its the best one out there

    i looove it

dont get the CHI .. it burns your hair

    and breaks easily

=== Tips for buying professional hair appliances ===

Do NOT buy professional hair appliances from unauthorized places like amazom.com, eBay, Target, Walmart, etc. Because if you do, manufacturers will refuse to honor the warranty. Buy from licensed places like salon, licensed professional beauty stores like Folica.com, Ulta.com, West Coast Beauty Supply Inc. etc

i absolutely love my CHI ceramic flat iron! it get really hot, really fast. i had this other one, but it does nothing compared to the CHI. :)

A Chi straightener will run you a bit more than that. Go for a Ceramix... works the same at a fraction of the cost. Hit up your hair stylist for suggestions of which brand would work best for your hair.
If you want a very proffesional high end straightener get a Sedu.

Chi's are good but do not offer as much ionic protection as Sedu's.
Get a chi. I got mine from ulta for i would say like150. it works like AWESOME. it takes me only 5 to 10 minutes to straighten all of my hiar. definitely recommend it.
Don't get the Chi, I just got one and in two weeks the on/off button broke. And the handle got soo hot i could barely hold it. And there's only one temperature. Get the sedu or hgi
The one I use is Conair and it is really cheap but really good. My friends have expensive ones but mine actually does better.
the sedu's are actually better than the chi. go to www.folica.com it will have reviews for all different hair appliances and stuff.
maxiglide is not ceramic but its awesome!!! its about 90.00
Chi is less than $200. I just bought one off of ebay, new in the box, for $78
kiyoseki it works sooooooooooooooooooooo great just trust me and just check out the site www.kstyler.com

Does anyone know where to get the Corioliss Ceramic Hair Straightener- with no online shopping!?

I saw it in Woodfield Mall the other day, but it was to expencive, so I'm looking for a place to get it cheeper than $120. Please don't say ';I don't know'; because I'll report!Does anyone know where to get the Corioliss Ceramic Hair Straightener- with no online shopping!?
Maybe try going to a hair salon supply store...such as Sally's. I'm not sure how much straighteners/irons are in that kind of store. But some other stuff isn't bad priced when it's on sale. And you can find lots of stuff at beauty supply stores that you can't find elsewhere. Good luck!Does anyone know where to get the Corioliss Ceramic Hair Straightener- with no online shopping!?

I hope it helps you .Best ceramic hair straightener?
i've heard chi is a great brand

but i've got a sedu which works really well too!

on the cheaper (but still sort of expensive) side, hot tools is ok too i think (i used to have one but it wasnt my favorite)

i think my friend has a revlon which works pretty good for her

I suppose it depends on what type of hair you have!
deffinately get a chi because they work the best but do not and i repaet DO NOT use it every single day becase then your hair gets really dead and frizzy.it just looks like a fried mess.
CHI is definately top of the line, but comes at a top of the line price. I had a herstyler beffore my CHI and it worked very well too, at about half the price.
    definitley Chi
CHI.... I use it an L-O-V-E it!!!!!!!
def not CHI its too overrated first off...second off its doesnt do its job as fast as u want it n kills ur ends
    a chii, or forher styler
